Position: Senior Recruiter , Waltham MA (Contract to potential Hire)

Location: Waltham, MA Hybrid 3 days in office 2 days remote
Hours: 8:30am- 5:00pm Monday- Friday
Duration: 6-12 months (with potential extension)
About the Role
Senior Recruiter with deep experience hiring across the life sciences and biotechnology sector. High volume, ATS attention to detail. This role sits in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and requires someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and fully comfortable managing the full recruitment lifecycle using modern ATS platforms.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of biotech/life-science talent markets, thrives under pressure, and can quickly build pipelines for technical and scientific roles.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for a variety of life science and biotech positions (R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Manufacturing, Commercial, etc.).
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and provide strategic talent insights.
- Source, engage, and assess high-caliber candidates using multiple tools, databases, and sourcing strategies.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and compliant candidate records within the ATS.
- Drive a high-touch candidate experience from initial outreach through offer.
- Present qualified candidates with detailed summaries and insights.
- Track and report recruiting metrics, pipeline status, and progress to stakeholders.
- Ensure processes comply with internal guidelines and industry standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with strong life sciences or biotech industry exposure.
- Proven success in fast-paced, high-volume hiring environments.
- Deep experience using ATS systems (Greenhouse, Workday, Lever, etc.).
- Strong sourcing expertise in LinkedIn Recruiter and other platforms.
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience recruiting for technical/scientific roles strongly preferred.
